SIP on Nokia Phones

1. Go to: Control panel/System -> Settings -> Connection -> SIP settings
2. Create a new SIP profile with the following settings:
   • Profile name: eventphone VoIP
   • Service profile: IETF
   • Default destination: None
   • Default access point: SELECT-YOUR-WLAN-ACCESS-POINT (e.g. 26C3-HERE-BE-DRAGONS-2.4GHz)
   • Public user name: sip:YOUR-EXTENSION@voip.eventphone.de
   • Use compression: No
   • Registration: when needed
   • Use security: No
   • Proxy server
     • Proxy server address: sip:voip.eventphone.de
     • Realm: voip.eventphone.de
     • User name: YOUR-EXTENSION (e.g. 1234)
     • Password: YOUR-PASSWORD
     • Allow loose routing: Yes
     • Transport type: Automatic
     • Port: 5060
   • Registrar server
     • Registrar server address: sip:voip.eventphone.de
     • Realm: voip.eventphone.de
     • User name: YOUR-EXTENSION (e.g. 1234)
     • Password: YOUR-PASSWORD
     • Transport type: Automatic
     • Port: 5060
3. Go to: Control panel/Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Internet tel. (Web. tel.)
4. Create new internet telephony profile:
   • Select SIP URI configured beforehand (sip:YOUR-EXTENSION@26c3.eventphone.de)
   • Name: eventphone
   • SIP profiles: select SIP profile configured beforehand ("eventphone VoIP")
   • ATTENTION: you might need to install an additional SIP application ("SIP VoIP settings") for newer Nokia phones (e.g. the E72):
